Pandora Sykes is a writer and broadcaster with a focus on pop-culture, social commentary and books. Previously an editor at The Sunday Times Style, she has written for publications including The Guardian, Vogue, Elle, Grazia, GQ and The Evening Standard and is the author of The Sunday Times best-selling essay collection, How Do We Know We’re Doing It Right? which came out in 2020.

The co-founder and co-host of the cult weekly podcast, The High Low, which garnered over 1.2 million downloads a month, Pandora is also the host of Doing It Right, a podcast about modern life’s myths, anxieties and trends, and The Missing, a podcast about long-term missing people, which was nominated for a British podcast award. In July 2021 she wrote and presented an 8-part audio documentary about Britney Spears for Radio 4, Pieces of Britney, which was named one of the top podcasts of 2021 by The Times, The Guardian, Apple and Medium.

Pandora is an experienced interviewer and panel host, for clients including The How To Academy, The Times Book Club, Cheltenham Literary Festival and The Saatchi Gallery and regularly interviews authors on their book publicity tours. In the last few years, she has interviewed best-selling authors includibng Reni Eddo-Lodge, David Nicholls, Candice Carty-Williams, Graham Norton, Raven Leilani, Emily Ratajkowski and Leila Slimani, amongst others. She has also narrated an audio book for Jilly Cooper.  Pandora has worked on another series of The Missing and wrote a new audio-documentary series for Radio 4 aired in 2022.
